Growth Hormone
What is Ipamorelin?
Ipamorelin
Mechanism of Action
Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide growth hormone secretagogue that selectively stimulates the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. It works by mimicking ghrelin and binding to the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHSR). Unlike other GH secretagogues, research indicates ipamorelin does not significantly affect cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH levels.
